My School Bank is an extremely cost-effective, all-inclusive package that provides your bank or financial institution with the complete establishment and management of each student-run-bank, including: 

 

  • A My School Bank representative to work with school representatives year around and establish the student-run bank on each school campus near your bank branch offices.

 

  • Each school bank featured in a grand opening event and celebration for local media with ribbon cutting and bank recognition ceremony.

 

  • Grand Opening Banner.

 

  • School bank signage with bank logo.

 

  • All materials (student passbooks, deposit and withdrawal slips, savings account registers, denominational stickers, banking ledger cards) with bank logo.

 

  • All K-8 school banking curricular materials for teachers.

 

  • One time first year set-up fee.

 

  • All supplies renewed annually along with new student enrollment packages.

FOR SCHOOLS

My School Bank provides students of each school with the tools and training to operate a student-run School Bank on campus.  

 

The My School Bank program is designed to meet TEKS financial education requirements.

 

What does it cost?

Each student-run-bank is sponsored by a neighborhood bank, and will cost the school absolutely nothing to operate.  

 

How time-consuming is it?

Each school's student-run bank program will be individualized according to each school's needs. Many resources are available to customize the program to take as much or as little time as needed.

 

 

  • A My School Bank representative will work with school representatives to establish the student-run bank on campus according to each school's individual requirements and specifications. 

 

  • My School Bank presentations for parent education and teacher curriculum training are available as needed. 

 

  • Student training provided for bank officer positions for operation of the school bank.

 

  • All banking materials provided and renewed as needed. 

 

  • Curriculum materials provided online for teacher selection and use.
